Yes. To reserve your moving date and secure a dedicated moving crew, we require a $50 deposit. The deposit is applied directly toward your total moving cost and guarantees your spot on our schedule.

We explain the calculation in your moving documents before moving day.

01.What If I Have More Items Than Originally Quoted?

No problem. If your inventory changes, simply let us know as soon as possible and we’ll update your quote accordingly.

To ensure a smooth move, please notify us before moving day if you’re adding a significant number of items. This allows our team to arrive fully prepared and allocate the proper time, crew, and truck space for your move.

Every move is different, so timing depends on factors like the size of your move, stairs or elevator access, walking distance to the truck, traffic, and how prepared everything is.

To save time and reduce costs, we recommend packing in advance whenever possible. Additional movers can also be added for complex moves such as long walks, stairs, small elevators, or packing help.

Once our crew arrives, they will assess the job and give you a more accurate time estimate on the spot.

The size of your crew depends on your move. Most small to mid-size moves are handled by a 2–5 mover team.

For example, a 2-person crew is most common for 1–2 bedroom apartments, while larger homes or complex moves may require additional movers. We can also increase crew size upon request to make your move faster and more efficient.

Please contact our office as soon as possible if your moving date changes. We’ll update your reservation and adjust your plan accordingly.

Keep in mind that pricing may vary depending on availability and the new date selected.

  • 1 Bedroom: 18 ft truck
  • 2 Bedroom: 22–24 ft truck
  • 3 Bedroom & larger: 26 ft truck

Our largest standard truck is 26 ft, which is also the maximum typically allowed on residential streets. Please ensure at least 40 ft of clear parking space to safely park the truck and deploy the ramp.

01.Do I Need to Empty My Dresser Drawers?

Yes. For safety and to prevent damage, we recommend emptying all dresser drawers and other furniture before your move. This helps ensure secure lifting, easier transport, and protects your belongings.

If you’ve booked our full packing service, our crew will take care of this for you.

No. We always include professional wrapping and protection of your furniture—using blankets and shrink wrap—before loading it onto the truck. This service is provided at no extra cost as part of your move.

We do not recommend packing valuable or irreplaceable items such as jewelry, cash, passports, legal documents, financial papers, car keys, or prescription medications with your household goods.

For safety and security, we suggest keeping these items with you or arranging for them to be transported separately. Please note that these items are not covered by our standard moving protection.
